2008 Iowa Heartland Romp Motorcycle Show
Any member registered for the Romp is encouraged to enter their motorcycle. You may only enter one bike per class.

Each individual registering for the Romp will receive one Official Bike Show Ballet. Each motorcycle entered will have a colored dot with a number, placed on the headlight. When voting only vote for the bikes in that class by placing the number in the color coded slot.  The bike in each class which receives the most votes for that class will be declared the winner.

You will also be able to vote for one bike for Best of Show. Place that number in the Best of Show Slot. It is possible that the Best of Show Bike may not win one of the Classes. So keep this in mind when voting.

Classes are as Follows:

Best Stock: (Yellow) 100 Series
A stock bike is a bike that is almost off of the showroom floor. It will have some personal touches and a few small add on’s, but is basically untouched. The bike is well kept

Best Use of Accessories: (Green) 200 Series
An accessorized bike is a bike that has lots of accessories on the bike but hasn’t had changes to the structure (sheet metal or frame). Extra points for hand made accessories.
The installed accessories should flow with the bike layout.

Most Original Theme: (Orange) 300 Series
A theme bike is a bike that has some particular statement the owner is trying to get across through the use of graphics and air brushing and custom paint. Lots of bikes have Military themes etc. A bike that has a graphic painted on the gas tank is NOT a theme bike. The theme chosen must start at the front of the bike and flow smoothly through the bike and finish in the back. Extra points for custom made parts that accent the theme.

Best Custom: (Red) 400 Series
This classification is one that carries controversy. Everyone thinks they have a custom bike of one type or another. Here are our guidelines: Custom bikes must have an altercation to the structure of the bike. Sheet metal must be altered and/or frame structure to qualify for a custom class. A stock bike with a custom paint is a stock bike with a great paint job. You must have altered the structure of the bike to qualify for Custom Class.

Best Paint: (Blue) 500 Series
A bike with a custom paint is any modification of the paint from the stock color. It can include such things as pinstripes, graphics, airbrushing, etc. It is the bike with the best paint job.

Best of Show: Self-explanatory, THE BEST BIKE IN THE SHOW IN YOUR OPINION.
