American Legion Riders Iowa Chapter
The American Legion Riders
of Iowa was formed in June
2002 by a small group of
veterans who share a common
interest in riding motorcycles.
We ride in support of the
American Legion and our
veterans, to promote
motorcycle safety and in
support of our community.
We have charity events
throughout the year. We
participate in the annual toy
run, parades, color guards
and many other events.
The American Legion Riders
of Iowa program has
provided a lot of enjoyment
for those members who share
a common interest in
motorcycling.
The American Legion Riders
is open to members of the
American Legion, Auxiliary,
or S.A.L who ride
motorcycles (along with their
spouses).
You must own a motorcycle
of 350cc or larger. You do not
have to change posts to be a
rider although all meetings
are hosted by Post 731 of Des
Moines Iowa. The official
address is: 1511 South Union
Street- Des Moines, Iowa
50315.
The Legion Riders meet at
Post 731. Our monthly
meetings are held on the 3rd
Thursday of each month at
7:00 p.m. Dues are $20.00.
